QUINTRON'S WEATHER WARLOCK In Richmond Video

Last month, QUINTRON'S WEATHER WARLOCK tour came through town, the tour was based around Q's analog weather synthesizer. On the tour with him, as the core trio, jamming along with the synth were: Aaron Hill (EYEHATEGOD) and Gary Wrong (Wizzard Sleeve), with Quintron selecting local sound artists in each town to collaborate with the trio. Here in Richmond: myself, Sean Cassidy, and JK had the unique opportunity to take part, it was trippy as fuck and a lot of fun!!! It just happened to start raining just before we started (it stopped right after we finished) so you can hear the Weather Warlock responding to the rain droplets!!! Thanks to Alexi Zeren for filming!!!!!

This was originally released digitally in 2014 on NOISEGRIND BASTARD RECORDINGS. OK, so first we have LIMBS BIN (drum machine distortion pedal noise box yelling) and he hails from here in the states...Ridgewood, New York to be exact. He has a slew of terrifying releases on his bandcamp page!!! KUSARI GAMA KILL (industrial white-noise chaosgrind) are from Denmark and have tons of sick releases, including splits with legends, Seven Minutes Of Nausea, Deche-Charge, Gorgonized Dorks and more!!!! And we have TACOMANIACX (one man cybergrind taco worship) from Sweden, who, in his 4 short years, has tons of releases under his belt and has most likely destroyed someone's hearing!!!! I've been dubbing this tape for days and love every listen, this shit is completely insane and sonically devastating!!! I'm totally stoked to have a new noise-grind release on C.N.P. because it's the original roots of this label!! He even donated a drop of his own blood for the inside cover art!!!! The BROWN PISS side has the rusty BP gurgle and mixes in field recorded sounds and cassette tape loops from a Henry Lee Lucas confessions tape. I'm very excited about this one!!! I started to digitize this a month ago, only getting as far as the 7MON and Suppression tracks, and just couldn't find the time to get back to it. Fortunately, through the kind efforts of CHARLES DOUGLAS HOFFMAN who appears on this as GOK, the original AUDIO TERRORISM cassette compilation is now available for everyone to enjoy!!! Not to be confused with the 1998 CD compilation entitled: "AUDIO TERRORISM: The Soundtrack For Weirdness And Blind Hostility" that we co-released with SATAN'S PIMP and HEARTPLUG. No, this one was the first compilation I ever compiled in the very early stages of C.N.P. I put this one together from my bedroom in 1994 through letter writing and tape trading with my new friends from all over the world. And it was a glorious time indeed!!! OUT NOW!!!!! This 5 track cassette is the first BTs release featuring the "mutant drum-kit" which is multiple drums and found objects that the four members pummel in a green brained haze. Sean Cassidy's haunting saxophone invocations weave in and out of the rhythmic cacophony, holding it all together. Three of the tracks were recorded by the band themselves on four track cassette in their practice space and the other two were captured by Silver Persinger while the band were performing live at Strange Matter in Richmond, VA. Which is how the rest of these songs were documented. Stand-up drum kit/ murder-drums meets junk electronics and percussion with paranoiac vocal yelps and commands....red vinyl and the covers were screen-printed on black DJ style sleeves.

RECTAL PUS- tracks from split tape with L.O.C. (1993)

Released in 1993 on CHAOTIC NOISE PRODUCTIONS (cnp-4) and VOMIT HALO RECORDS (VH-10) this tape contained 80 Rectal Pus tracks. Rectal Pus were me (Jason Hodges), Davey Austin, and Bill Mahone from the original Suppression line-up along with our friends Scotty Pus, Jamie Broughman, and Jason Ayers. Our friend Bill Porter eventually joined the band but he's not on this one. We were the premiere C.N.P. band!!! This stuff is very chaotic, punk influenced noise-core with completely absurd, toilet humor/ subject matter complete with ridiculous 80s movie sound-bites scattered throughout. It takes a certain kind of human to enjoy this, and that human may very well not exist. There is a hilarious "Eye Of The Tiger" cover at about 21 minutes in. It's completely horrible, but hilarious nonetheless. Which is basically the motif of this material in general, but we had a lot of fun making this!!! The cover art was drawn by Chris Gargle of L.O.C. (Lord Of Cheese) and unfortunately I don't have a digital copy of his tracks to include on this post. If anyone has them please contact me!!! Incidentally, Chris and I played together 3 years later in JAPANESE TORTURE COMEDY HOUR at a show in Boston opening for MERZBOW and MASONNA, there's a cool WFMU article about the subsequent live- cassette box-set release from this show, complete with mp3s, here!!!!!
