Wow!!! I always thought that one of these days I would make this compilation available for download, but someone else already did it for me. Ah, the internet. So around 1997/ 1998 myself,
Scott Hull, and
Jay Randall started asking every band we either knew or were fans of to be on this massive CD compilation, 99 bands being the desired goal. Welp, we certainly achieved that goal and the end result was one of the most amazing compilations ever, in my opinion, with some of the best bands of the time...I mean, come on: MERZBOW, SPAZZ, The LOCUST, CRANK STURGEON, MEN'S RECOVERY PROJECT, QUINTRON, RUPTURE, BASTARD NOISE, EARWIGS, SOCKEYE, AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED, SEVEN MINUTES OF NAUSEA, EMIL BEAULIEAU, JAPANESE TORTURE COMEDY HOUR, and tons more making this a veritible who's who of comrades and heroes from those weird late 90s. This is still one of my proudest moments of doing a record label, this is also the 1st release of the label being known as C.N.P. Records instead of the original
CHAOTIC NOISE PRODUCTIONS.
SATAN'S PIMP and HEARTPLUG (now
GRINDCORE KARAOKE) co-released this with me and Scott Hull handled the technical, production end of things as well as securing some of the better known bands...good times!!! Only 1000 copies were pressed. Whoever uploaded this to the internet really hooked you guys up, I'm just the messenger...
