SUPPRESSION open the flip side with a mental power electronics section leading to a grinding hardcore tune, heavy on the freak sauce.

SUPPRESSION "Burnt Out Receptacles" 7 inch (2001)

Released in 2001, this was the first document of the present 2-piece line-up of Suppression. We recorded this with Mark Miley at GLASS HAND and had a blast making this one. Annie Sachs of TICKLEY FEATHER appears on this for the sultry intro, which she felt awkward doing and it was pretty hilarious recording that because we had her do multiple takes. Thanks again Annie!!! We also got a lot of laughs whilst taking these ridiculous photos of ourselves. Good times...

It was limited to 50 copies with individual, handmade, collages (examples above) for each cassette by Leo Heinzel. Originally 100 were to be made but MUTWAWA have decided to use the other 50 tapes for a new, almost finished, release...

"AUDIO TERRORISM: THE SOUNDTRACK FOR WEIRDNESS AND BLIND HOSTILITY" 99 band compilation CD (1998)

Wow!!! I always thought that one of these days I would make this compilation available for download, but someone else already did it for me. Ah, the internet. So around 1997/ 1998 myself, Scott Hull, and Jay Randall started asking every band we either knew or were fans of to be on this massive CD compilation, 99 bands being the desired goal. Welp, we certainly achieved that goal and the end result was one of the most amazing compilations ever, in my opinion, with some of the best bands of the time...I mean, come on: MERZBOW, SPAZZ, The LOCUST, CRANK STURGEON, MEN'S RECOVERY PROJECT, QUINTRON, RUPTURE, BASTARD NOISE, EARWIGS, SOCKEYE, AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED, SEVEN MINUTES OF NAUSEA, EMIL BEAULIEAU, JAPANESE TORTURE COMEDY HOUR, and tons more making this a veritible who's who of comrades and heroes from those weird late 90s. This is still one of my proudest moments of doing a record label, this is also the 1st release of the label being known as C.N.P. Records instead of the original CHAOTIC NOISE PRODUCTIONS. SATAN'S PIMP and HEARTPLUG (now GRINDCORE KARAOKE) co-released this with me and Scott Hull handled the technical, production end of things as well as securing some of the better known bands...good times!!! Only 1000 copies were pressed. Whoever uploaded this to the internet really hooked you guys up, I'm just the messenger... ENJOY!!!!!
